“Limbo”, apart from its Christian reference, is a temporary state or condition in waiting for a decision or a resolution. By nature, limbo is filled with uncertainty. Limbo is a post-pandemic series of human conditions taking the form of animals in surreal landscape settings. This is one of two paintings of a horse standing alone in a barren landscape as a reflection of the pandemic isolation. This painting is about power amidst difficult situations, survival.
